The construction of water channel at Jalan Prihatin, Kelapa Gading Barat, Kelapa Gading has reached 60 percent. As planned before, the channel has length about 620 meter and height 1.3 meter and one meter width.

“The area is often inundated due to small drainage. The construction is started from Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter through Tabah I connecting channel up to Sentosa Selatan connecting channel and ended at Kodamar reservoir,” she said, Tuesday (8/16).
City Keeps Improving Infrastructure for Flood HandlingAccording to her, heavy equipment must be deployed to dig the soil. Now the construction has reached 60 percent or 400 meter. It is targeted to complete in a month.
“The project has been running for two months. It is hoped can be completed in September,” she closed.
